Did anyone try to get tickets this morning to Celine's show at the RBC Center?

If you did, consider yourself in for a treat.

I saw her in Vegas...FABULOUS show. That woman can sing her skinny behind off.

I got four tickets, our teenager loves her. I am surprised there are still so many seats left...I was assuming she'd be a "hot" ticket item.

Then you are in for a treat. Her show was easily one of the best I've seen. The visuals don't overshadow her voice.

I looked at the RBC Center website and it shows the concert being the 20th of January on the main page.....I then go to the events calendar and it shows Barry Manilow is going to be here that day (not that I want to see Celine) but maybe that's why tickets are not selling too well. People may go straight to the events calendar skipping over the main RBC Center page and not seeing it.

Whaaaaaat?!?!?!

I'd lose tickets if I had to hold onto them for over a year.

a) How old is this "teenager?" 40? 50?

b) Why are you surprised that Celine Dion tix are still available? For some unknown reason she was a hot ticket about 10 years ago but today I doubt that she'll sell out 1/2 the dates on her tour. Heck, I didn't even know that she was touring.

Just because you're out of the loop, don't assume everyone else is...

Ps
I'm under 40. People of any age who appreciate solid singing and music will love her show.

Celine Dion has sold more albums than any female recording artist in history. She’s performed an elaborately staged show to five years of sold-out houses in Las Vegas.

“After five years, it’s going to be difficult to say goodbye,” she said, telling of how she and the cast of the show, “A New Day,” had become like family over the years. She performed in a 4,000-seat stadium designed specifically for her and sold it out every night.

As I mentioned earlier, I saw her in this vegas show. FANTASTIC.

To the poster with the teen who loves Celine...

It might be cheaper (and more fun) to get a cheap flight to Vegas and see her there. That theatre is stunning. Since it was built just for her show, there's no bad seat in the house. While there, be sure to see "O". It's simply the most amazing live show I've ever seen.

Celine is ending her Vegas shows in December so I would think it would be really hard to find tickets for Vegas at this late date.
