I am interested in blogs or websites that provide information on places to go, local events, etc. around the triangle area. I follow a few mom blogs, but I am interested in other sites as well, maybe highlighting local businesses, art fairs, restaurants, etc. Here are a couple I follow, but I would appreciate others adding to the list.

I've always liked checking out the different food blogs around here and used those as jumping off points to find other ones (since a lot of the bloggers like to follow other bloggers). Carpe Durham is great for Durham and finding other Durham blogs. Bull City Rising is the product of one of our local posters although he isn't doing anything with the blog these days. But he has a list of lots of other related Durham blogs.

Mouthful, Andrea Weigl's blog at the N&O, covers food-related things all over the Triangle, as does TriangleFoodGuy.

Raleigh also has its share of blogs, a lot that are focused on the history, food, and events of downtown Raleigh.
- Goodnight Raleigh always has interesting tidbits.
- Found Downtown Dame through GNR - looks interesting
- GoGoRaleigh
- NewRaleigh was a blog I used to like to check in with but they stopped actively blogging a year ago. But, it looks like there is an active Twitter presence
- The Raleigh Connoisseur
- A fun and relatively active restaurant one: Foodalicious Follies

Don't know much about the Chapel Hill blog scene (other than the mom one) but maybe others will chime in!
