Several of the stores discussed in this thread have suitable stuff (especially Ten Thousand Villages in Cameron Village): //www.city-data.com/forum/ralei...que-gifts.html

There is a cute gift store in University Mall in Chapel Hill (with A Southern Season) that has a lot of left-wing political stuff. In general, you are probably going to find a lot of suitable stuff in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.

Or with online shopping and then you can have it gift wrapped and shipped directly to your family:

I recommend:
Amazon.com: How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must): The World According to Ann Coulter: Books: Ann Coulter

OT: Do others who online shop feel like they are cheating by direct shipping gifts to recipients? I'm starting to think online in convenient, but impersonal.

Why in the world would a liberal person want a book from Ann Couter?

I would only direct ship to someone if there was no other way I could get the package to them on time more personally. If it was being shipped directly, I'd likely preceed the package delivery with a nice card and a note to expect a package to come so that you show some sort of personal holiday greeting.
