I lost a Small Claims case today and I have a great provable case. I think if I had an attorney with me, it would have made all the difference. I know it's small potatoes but my evidence is thorough and correct. The case is win-able; I just need a stronger presence. Money's tight but I really need help in order to appeal within 10 days. Please help. I need help. Can't thank enough.
Case in Wake Co./Raleigh.
I believe you can go ahead and appeal by your self in the 10 days and then see if you can find an attorney. The problem with finding an attorney will be that it is usually not cost effective for you. An attorney will usually want to charge by the hour unless it is a bigger case where they can charge a contingency fee. Your best bet may be a solo practitioner that is recently out of law school.
