Hi... (Raleigh, Cary, Lumberton: 2015, to eat, vacation)

My name is Perry, soon to be Jersey2Raleigh, mostlikely by early 2015.

I don't know if it's customary to post an introduction as your first post, but as a fifteen year veteran of message boards, that is what I usually do.

To start with, I love the South, having been to Atlanta three times.

While on vacation, stopping at Lumberton, NC for the night, I began to remember why I love the South so much.

For the record, I am a lifetime Jerseyan, having been born in Brooklyn.

Staying two nights in Raleigh was all I needed, and I just cannot wait!

So I hope to be able to get my questions answered, as well as make new friends...

Hello friends... Nice to be here. What makes me want to come is the people.

Went out to eat at a Lonestar Steakhouse, and the waitress asked the manager to stop by to talk with us.

In New Jersey, he would just say hello, love to have you.

This man spent a half hour telling us all about Raleigh, Cary and the surrounding area.

I can't wait to go back and thank him.

A new beginning would be my answer...
