Info on Raleigh area north/northeast of I-40 (Knightdale, Zebulon: crime, schools)

I may be relocating to the Raleigh area in the next 6 months...if i do my business will be in the N-NE area of I-40, possibly Zebulon or Wake...any info on those areas greatly appreciated...population-median income and education, schools, crime

Knightdale is booming now and Zebulon is a typical small southern town but has some industry and a cute main street. There are several nice communities.
