So, I'd say it's not unreasonable for people to believe what they are told, when they can come online and see others posting the same thing.
I would 100% trust what actual Maxx customers tell me their experience was vs a poorly trained TWC rep making $10/hour.

Because it's Time Warner Cable. It's what they do.

I hear you, but if there is confusion on the dates, it's 100% TWC causing it, even more so than the typical CSR who will make up random stuff.

What a bummer if we're all pushed out to November 3.

For what it's worth, TWC Chat confirmed that 27511 is one of the zip codes being delayed.

Several people here will be very pleased to note it's a Tuesday.

With the delay, was anyone able to complain sufficiently to get a discount or free month(s)?

27513 also pushed back to 11/3. Just in time for after Halloween parties

Good luck with that. I'd say there's a 0% chance TWC is going to give you a discount because an online rep told you 10/2 is when you are getting a speed increase. Their services always say "up to" a certain speed. That way they don't have to guarantee a specific speed. Making a call to complain about this subject is a complete waste of time.
