I stayed there the first week it opened. One of the best in Raleigh IMO. The only hotel I know to be better is the Marriott DT. It was excellent. Room service, bell hop, valet parking. On a good day 150-200 bucks. Sometimes lower but it depends. For the price you can't beat it.


I have been told the Renaissance North Hills is awesome also. You can catch it under 200 sometimes.

I immediately thought of the Washington Duke or the Carolina Inn when I read your request, but they're probably too expensive without a special deal or coupon. I've heard good things about the Arrowhead Inn in Durham.
