I'm seeing some really troubling crime statistics, and I'm trying to find out if they're truly accurate. I got them off City-Data. It looks like Holly Springs is low in crime, except for rape which is way too high (higher than the national average). The data is from 2004. Was there a serial rapist in Holly Springs that year? Also, Fuquay-Varina is showing as really high in crime compared to other towns (cary, apex, wake forest). Other towns whose crime stats look bad are Garner and Zebulon.

See a previous thread here about how I feels some of the stats tend to be a bit misleading, especially when compared to other states.
