My go-tos for Turkish is Talulla's in Chapel Hill. For Lebanese I'm partial to La Shish in Cary or Sitti in Raleigh. La Shish is awesome because just about everything is made fresh there and the owner, Nabila, is one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. I've not been to Bosphorous in Cary but have heard good things about it as far as other options for Turkish go. There are also two Lebanese delis worth checking out - Mediterranean Deli in Chapel Hill and Neomonde in Raleigh.

for Turkish food go straight to Bosphorous!
Other Middle Eastern favorites are La Shish, Baba Ganoush and Neomonde.

100% correct! Bosphorus is awesome.

My others that I like are Neomonde and Sitti (pretty sure they have the same ownership, but not postitive). Both are, IMO top of their class, Sitti being one of my favorite dining experiences in the entire triangle.

Pretty much every place mentioned so far is great.

For the best Hummus in the triangle, come to my place.

Have only been to Sitti once but loved it. They were very accommodating and our server was super knowledgeable.

I've heard only great things about Bosphorus.

Tons of great places in the area: La Shish, Aladdin's Eatery, Talullas, Sitti, Mediterranean Deli, Neomonde, Bosphorus (and many others I'm sure)

Bosphorus, Neomonde and Mediterranean Deli are my favorites. Bosphorus is very good.

Tallulahs, Neomonde, Bosphorous, La Shish, and to a lesser degree Sitti are the only decent spots we've found. None are A+ Mediterranean food unfortunately. For Greek in particular, nothing but mediocrity, would love an authentic Greek place. Also, for quick hit Persian, Cilantro on 54 is pretty good.

Have you tried Kipos in Chapel Hill for Greek, I thought it was great.

Yep, good suggestion. It's ok, enjoyable but not great. Obviously just an opinion, not shooting it down for others.
