Hi All -

We're in our second year of DirecTV - first year, NFL Sunday ticket was included in the cost - this year, they'll charge $42/month for 6 months - I called DirecTV and they offered to discount the monthly fee by $9/month - still pretty high IMHO. Has anyone negotiated a lower rate with DirecTV specifically for Sunday ticket? Thanks.

Nothing may come of it, but a lawsuit was recently filed, accusing them of being an illegal monopoly.

I have never paid full price for it the past 5 years I've had directv. I've had it free a number of years because I only sign 1 year agreements with them and renegotiate to stay with them each year. Look on slickdeals forum...there is a really long thread discussion about how to negotiate with them and what people have gotten.
