I am looking to buy 50 Acres of land for shopping centre. this will be first time I am looking to do so. PLease suggest me what I need to ask to make sure I get what I am looking for. I will be happy with any hwlp you all can provide. Thank you

You can thrive, or get hammered, buying raw land.

You should consider joining RLI, the Realtors' Land Institute.
Classes are held in Greensboro at NCAR, and it is very instructional in determining highest and best uses, valuations, and environmental considerations, among other land issues.

RLI offers a huge network of agents and a wide variety of educational seminars.

Just curious and certainly not trying to obtain any trade secrets - but have you already verbally secured enough pre-leases to support your loan? I'm surprised giving the growing abundance of empty commercial space in the Triangle. I'm not judging by any means, but trying to get a read on the economy around here.

There are still some areas underserved by shopping facilities...northern Durham County and northern Chatham County come to mind.
