My wife wants to go see this, was thinking of picking up some tickets for Xmas for her. I've never bought tickets online and could only find one site selling them. Is there a preferred place to purchase tickets, or maybe preferred place for this specific event (Lion King)?
DPAC sells through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster has annoyingly high fees, but last time I bought tickets to one of the Broadway DPAC shows, ticketmaster was much, much cheaper than buying directly through DPAC's box office for the same seat. The Lion King is great, have fun!
we bought excellent seats for the whole family for Christmas this year. We aremore into experience over material these days and the 13 year old girls will really enjoy it. One place DH looked at ridiculous cost till he finally found something a bit more reasonable. and for same seats.
Yeah the one place I looked (forgot where) was expensive. I could only find one site selling them via Google and wanted to compare. No Kudzu, where did you buy from?
I agree we are more about experiences now. We have everything we need.

DH is gone now but I'll ask him. First place was something like $238 per ticket and we ended up at right around $100 per ticket. Ridiculous.

You have to be real careful about buying tickets online. Ticketmaster is fine but when searching online the junk distributors will often show up first and can be confusing if your not an experienced show goer. Sometimes if it's a venue that's close I'll just buy tickets on site. These days that still doesn't spare you from service fees necessarily.

DH says he googled Lion King, DPAC and the first site to come up was the super expensive one. He then backed up and went directly to DPAC Lion King and found reasonable costs but still not cheap.
