Based off news footage, Durham streets look worse than Raleigh's.
TW Alexander is one of the major ways of getting out of Brier Creek, if you are heading over to 147 to Durham or 40. Lots of people from the country club use it, or the apartment complexes next to it.

We have a steep driveway that is in shade part of the day. My partner wants us to go out and clear it but the temperature isn't warm enough yet. There are two of us and one snow shovel. I told him to wait until lunch time. I really regret not getting de-icer before this.

Does anyone know how good Glenwood is in Raleigh from Brier Creek to the Lowes off Lynn Road? (or is there a better place to get de-icer?) I wonder if it's worth trying to get some de-icer today. But, I don't want to get stuck coming or going. The streets in the country club have not been plowed as far as I know. My neighborhood certainly hasn't been.

I don't have to work tomorrow so I'm not in a hurry to get out on these icy roads.

Should we expect another round of snow and ice before spring?

Yeah. I think it's unlikely that people who venture out today are gonna be thinking about trying to see a resale home.

I'd be too worried about lawsuits from slip and fall accidents to hold an Open House today.

I would have guessed about 5:30am tomorrow. Tonight would be great!

Wouldn't be surprised if Tuesday is cancelled as well, or at the very least a late start. I'm looking at 2" of unplowed ice on my street.

I would be worried about falling on my own butt, and then about liability.

I just got spammed about one on FB, in Holly Springs.

The Lowes near me was out of ice melt and shovels before the storm hit, so I would call first to see if they got any shipments.
