Hi just moved from Michigan, and I was looking for other stay at home moms to interact with. Is there any kind of group for the cary, morrisville area that anyone knows of?

Lumnia, the TOS says that we are not allowed to provide links to other forums on these boards.

Quote:
Creation of active links is enabled for users that have been here for more than three days and have a couple posts already. Links to competitors' sites are treated differently than other links and are likely to be deleted.
It seems we aren't able to mention other forums either. Sorry! Wish I could help you more, but my hands are tied.

But don't dispair, there are groups out there. You can do some more internet searches as mommiewrites has suggested. You can also go to your local library; they may be able to help you.

I know how hard it is to move to a new place where you don't know anyone. I imagine it's even more stressfull when you're a SAHM. Good luck to you!

Mrs Steel mentioning the library made me think of this...find out when the library's story time is- almost all of them have it. Talk to the other moms there and make friends...they may know of some, or maybe you can start your own!

Go to your closest supermarket and grab a free copy of Carolina Parent. There is a mommie's group in the Triangle that is affiliated with the magazine

I have lots of out of state clients that are on this board, so hopefully some of them will respond to you and get somthing started. I know they are thinking the same thing. When I moved here and my children were small, I would have loved to find a group of moms to hang out with. Luckily I moved into a neighborhood with alot of stay at home moms like myself.
