Ok, it's that time. My husband is turning 30 and I want to do something memorable for him. I was thinking of a surprise party but when I started asking him questions, I now think he'd like something more memorable. Trouble is, I don't know what. I just want something that when he's 60, he can remember back (providing that the alzheimers hasn't set in) and remember exactly what he did for his 30th. I want it to be that special! He's a guy guy - into motorcycles and skydiving (both of which he has and has done). But that's the sort of things he's into. Unfortunately, money isn't unlimited but there is some wiggle room for the great idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

You could take him out to Kitty Hawk for some hang gliding (including hang gliding being towed). Look up Kitty Hawk Kites. They also have kiteboarding and parasailing.

Lightbulb Richard Petty Driving Experience

Just a thought... How about the Richard Petty Driving Experience?

Richard Petty Driving Experience

It is right outside Charlotte (Concord, NC) so around 2.5 hours away from the triangle. Sounds like it might be right up his alley...

Not sure when they run. But there are some great white water rafting trips to be had in the Mountains near Cherokee. .

This might take some brains and know how (not saying you don't have that) but I made a slideshow video for my dh's 40th bday last summer. It was so awesome. I found the perfect retro music from 1967 and just managed to fit things together. Took me weeks of scanning old pics to get in and research for music that fits but it was fun.

If you want more info.. send me a DM and I will help yo u out.
