Be aware that Davis Drive Elementary is capped next year. Not sure if you are looking for elementary or middle.

Pros - good location
Cons - Pulte

Is it definite that the complex will be assigned to Davis Drive?

That being said, I just can't fathom buying a home based on three years of school.

EDIT: Just checked and I guess it is assigned to DDE/DDM

I also see a substantial appreciation/demand of the properties assigned to these schools. Correct me if I am wrong as I am new to this area, but that's the trend I am seeing from the information available.

do you want your children to go to particular schools, or do you want the highest appreciating/demand neighborhood?

It will be interesting to see how the round robin capping of the assigned schools affects real estate values.

DDMS was capped this past year, and now it's the elementary school (which is a better and long overdue solution). Green Hope should be capped, but with Panther Creek capped that's not gonna happen I guess.

That's pretty much what we heard from the assignment office re: GHHS.

So, they will continue to add modular classrooms? I wonder how much room will be made at PCHS since Brier Creek will be heading to Leesville Road HS? I am sure not enough since a lot of kids will remain until they graduate.

I'm curious what people will do. I know a couple families who could grandfather at Mills Park Middle but they are leaving for Pine Hollow so their kids can meet future classmates.
And honestly if PCHS isn't adding modulars to handle their own Students I would not expect GHHS to either. Not even sure where they would put them that's not a 10 minute walk back to the building.
