FYI, Just saw this which seems to confirm Harris Teeter to be the anchor grocery store at "The Corners at Brier Creek." This is not the property they purchased down the road a few years back.
I have read around here Harris Teeter is projected to open in 2017 or 2018. I would be curious to know if Harris Teeter may try opening one of its larger new stores here.

If it's not going to be Kroger, a large fully tricked out Harris Teeter would be my choice.

But careful reading of the brochure states that the HTis due to be completed in Fall, 2016. Does anybody believe that's possible?
I wonder if they got the name of the shopping center from the furniture store that used to be over there, or if it was a coincidence.
The building where Estatibles (sp?) was used to be a La-Z-Boy furniture gallery, then Ashby's Furniture.
Since Harris Teeter is the grocery anchor for this center, then I suspect that the HT-owned land at the corner of ACC/T.W. Alexander would be space for a fuel center. I knew that Kroger wasn't going to go there since the lot is a bit small for one.
I could be wrong, but the Lowe's Foods looks like it's remodeling. Last time I was at Brier Creek, they had some portable storage containers sitting outside in the parking lot. Hopefully they'll get rid of that awful fluorescent tube lighting inside and those low shelving units.
I wonder who's taking the bigger parcel on the other side of the loop road

I doubt it, as that'd be a huge fuel center. Their "owned" parcel is huge. It's 6.4 acres with an assessed value of $1.5 million. Maybe if they subdivided it.
Would have preferred a Publix but I am not surprised it is HT.
Is there any recent speculation of Publix seeking a site in the Brier Creek area?
