Hello, I am planning to subscribe with TWC the following: select channels, 500 Mbps or 1000Mbps (not sure what is available), and digital phone. Does anyone know how much does it cost per month after installation fee? Thanks.

Your best bet is to call them.

I'd just call them as the other poster said.

Spectrum will ream you every year with price increases and will not negotiate.

We went to AT&T after 21 years with Spectrum when they raised us 20% and would not bargain.

Many of their employees are quitting along with customers.

AT&T will give you a 2 year rate lock and negotiates.

Spectrum has good reliability but is not a nice company after being bought out.

Spectrum rep told me to call other carriers to get a better rate. Must have been her last day.

First year will be $90 a month. The months thereafter your rate will increase dramatically without warning and won't stop until you're paying about $3000 a month at which point customers will take a 2nd mortgage to continue making those payments because they have to have the latest and greatest. The addiction is real.

Seriously, though, just call them. But from my experience 9 out of 10 people I've talked to hate Spectrum because of their absurd price increases.

Spectrum aka TWC never raised prices on me out of nowhere. It was always at the 12 month mark when the promotional rate expired. It was made clear that it was a promotional rate.

This is why I banged my fist on the table on here and highly suggested Earthlink pricing. No promo rate increases to expire resulting in sky high prices requiring a call, just a low cost bill. I'm still at $41.95/month.

Reminds me of people who complain about getting bills "out of nowhere". Yes, the car insurance bill truly does come in every six months like it has for the last 10 years...

I hope that their triple-play bundling offer stops and the bean counters will focus on something else.

I think with all these M&A's in past eight years, these big company executives are looking for their golden parachutes at any cost.
