Looking for quotes on metal carports like the one in the picture:
So far, the only company I can find online that sells them is Aluminum Company of NC. I see them everywhere, so I know more people sell and install them. (I'm not interested in the pre-fab kind, I specifically want the flat roof, and likely will attach to the side of my house. Will need custom dimensions too.)
If you've had one installed, or know someone who does these, can you please give me a referral so I can request a consult?
Thanks,
(BTW, I just grabbed a random picture. Mine is that style, but probably would look very different. Hence the need to customize.)
So Pioneer was great, but they won't work out. (I would use them, but in this case they weren't willing to do permitting, and that's something I need.)
Any other recommendations?
Also, I'm really getting close to considering one of those Leonard-style pre-fab carports. For what I need, and where I live, it's not too out of place. My biggest concern is that it has a gable'd top, so half the run-off will be coming down near the house. The one I pictured above has a slope away from the house. Right now, the lowest bid (and I'm not happy with them) is more than 2x the cost of the prefab, and the only other bid is nearly 4x in cost. I'd almost rather take the pre-fab, use it and know it won't add value to my house (and if it takes value away, I can scrap it if and when I move, which I don't have plans to do).
No HOA, and offsets are confirmed to be more than adequate.
Either will do you a good job. Whipsaw the sales dudes. They have bloodthirsty competition between them.
