I intended for it to be Raleigh only. But that can change with the will of the masses.

So, as the article says, they don't have eminent plans but The Edison is dead as Highwoods just bought the property. Hopefully something will come about sooner rather than later.

After seeing the early renderings of 4 nice size buildings, only getting some 5 story apartments on part of the site out of it is disappointing even if the people downtown do help overall.

For people not aware, the below is what he's referring to by "4 nice size buildings", which looked amazing. Such a waste of an opportunity. Every time I drive by that block and see those short stocky apartment buildings there now, I think of this image:

One Glenwood will become a new focal point connecting Glenwood South and the Warehouse District.
They are also close to a deal with a development partner for the 126-room hotel proposed for across the street

In addition to the nine floors of office space, One Glenwood will have about 15,000 square feet of retail and a parking deck for 730 cars. Once construction commences, One Glenwood will be ready for occupancy in about 18 months. Blair anticipates the first tenants being able to move in by late 2018.

Few thoughts.

Looks great.

Wow, architectural renderings have come a long way in the last 25 years. You should see some of the cartoony looking stuff I've had hanging in my offices over the years.

Hope they keep the led lighting on the one section and have it change colors. That looks awesome.

Surely they don't think they can open a burger place that Close to Char Grill? or, maybe it will be a Five Guys!

Glad to see this thread. Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Charlotte have development threads going on in their respective forums. We used to have one here as well, but it was closed a while back and we needed a new one.

I'll have a few things to post later.

If it's a Five Guys, I hope it's built inside a Tinderbox!!!
