Hi, I have some problems with my credit and i need to move immedialy.
I have two young girls, so i want to live in a nice area, (I prefer the North Raleigh are because it is closer to my job) Unfortunatly, all the nice places require good credit, so i was thinking about renting from a private owner, but i don't know any. I am a single mom with a nice job, and a budget, so i can afford no more than $650 a month. If any one know of any places that are available almost immediatly please let me know.

The big complexes may work with you if you can put up a good deposit and have no bad rental references.

Otherwise, might try Craigslist.

25% of your app depends on your credit. As long as you dont have anything in collections, I wouldnt worry too much about it.

You can always call Raleigh housing and see what they suggest. I know of only one in Clayton that is surprisingly very nice called "Cobblers Station". Your income has to be below $35,000 a year to qualify.
I'm sure there are some places in Raleigh that is about the same.

Good luck!

Montecito might be able to work with you if no bad rental history.

My daughter has lived there 3 years. Older but not bad.

You might want to try Litchford Park Apartments. I lived there for 2 years when I first moved here and don't really have any complaints (except for the people that moved in above me).

You might try googling Crosland managed properties...I think that's how you can find them.

Thanks guys, i failed to mention that i do have an eviction on my credit. So that is why i wanted to know if anyone knew any private landlords, they ususally don't check your credit history.

An eviction is leprosy in the rental world.

Very few professional landlords would consider this without a solid cosigner.
