After the GA completes the court ordered redistricting next year, the balance of power will shift and Cooper can spend the last 2 years of his first term undoing all this harmful crap.
Very wishful thinking. As I said if you want to ensure HB2 stays hope Cooper wins.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the legislature have enough votes to do whatever they want and stop everything Cooper wants, therefore nothing really changes?
Of course. Doesn't mean that people wouldn't rather a governor who is at least not sponsoring their nonsense.
It'd be better for business, honestly.

From what I hear from people in Charlotte they may well be a much bigger turn out for their next City Council and Mayor elections. If Cooper wins you'll have to hope the new Charlotte city council repeals the ordinance that started it all. Without McCrory HB2 stays.
Cooper could do a sponsored rafting trip across the Pacific.
You have the most convoluted logic I've encountered on here in at least the last 24 hours.

Seriously? You don't think it would be better if in the New Year McCrory reached out to Charlotte city council and said it was time to repeal their ordinance? Seeing as the election had no effect in theory? He's the only one who can do it.
Aren't we getting ahead of ourselves? The provisional ballots get counted tomorrow, am I right?
No, all ballots have been counted. Tomorrow at 11:00 is a hearing to consider a protest filed by the state republican party. The GOP is requesting a recount by the Durham County Board of elections.

Won't there be a recount state wide?
