Each Church has an online site with listings of weekly events..

Summit & Providence Baptist are two that are fairly near your hotel..

Some have events that may be one time things like concerts..

I'm not a church person, but I did try to help with some googling. So far as I can tell, there is not a Homewood Suites that close to the airport. There's one in Durham, quite close to RTP (not the same as RDU), and another out by Crabtree Mall. I'm assuming your at the Durham/RTP location.

I have left messages with several churches. The guy who answered the phone at the hotel suggested Cedar Fork Baptist or World Overcomers near the hotel. If you think I am somehow trolling on here, feel free to meet me in person next week so I may disprove whichever assumptions you have.

I would probably go with Summit in the Brier Creek area, they always have stuff going on there.
