Turned on my news this morning and caught wind of the horrendous machete attack.
Hits home since our friend lives a few doors down from the suspect's family in Cary Carramore.
Both suspect and victim seem to be from well off Indian families.
Wished the Apex bystanders would have intervened.

And another incident outside Cary aquatics center.
It goes without saying, crime happens everywhere, any social class, any ethnicity.
Stay safe everyone.

He was swinging a machete. What exactly should they have done?

Well, there are many things that might could have been done in the right circumstances, by the right people, etc. but who in the world is the one to judge someone for not walking into something like that?
Calling the police was the likely best thing in this situation, unfortunately for the young lady.

Horrific.

That's an easy one. Shot him. On the news this morning an Arizona Trooper was attacked by a nutter and a citizen pulled over and shot the attacker dead. Job done.

Give me a minute I am going to see how long it takes for me to retrieve my canceled carry and walk to my mail box.........

Back 17 seconds.

Yeah, that would have been ideal, but all the social media cowboys are never johnny-on-the-spot when you need them. I did like that AZ story, particularly since the guy is OK as far as their laws go.

In this Apex situation, ideally there would be two guys trying to take on Crazy, but alas there was not.

If you "shot him" with your "canceled carry," would that be before or after cancellation? Or, it would appear that you can warp the space/time continuum at will.
Who's going to win the next MegaMillions?

Sorry for the poor spelling.

If you read the entire article, one of the neighbors went out with a 2 by 4, then returned inside when he saw the machete.
