No, I have not heard when construction of Amberly Village in Cary will begin. For a late 2017 opening, bids for construction should be accepted now. I have not seen any notices yet. Publix has been officially announcing new stores recently for 2018 openings. Publix at Amberly Village opening at 2018 could be realistic.

Wakegov does not show a transfer of title, at least in the tax rolls. I suppose I could dig a bit deeper at the Register of Deeds
But, there is a preleasing sign out at Amberly Village.

Carolina Knight, I have heard British discount grocer LIDL is coming to the Triangle, too.

So it is! I saw them in the UK when we were over there this summer and when I put LIDL in my browser it automagically appended it with .co.uk so I jumped the gun and called them British. Could be interesting at any rate wherever they're from.

Limited assortment/discount grocer Lidl is expanding with its initial stores planned in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. I project it will create competition for other limited assortment/discount grocers Aldi and Save-A-Lot and feed off struggling supermarkets.

Wake County could be behind in updating its information.
