Is there a townhome community in Raleigh that school buses can’t drive through?
No buses – No kids live close. We don’t want the kid noises or mowing anymore.
Thanks
Matty

read some replys.....don't mind the mower noise at all - kids are another thing
not old enough for the +55 housing - Thanks

Try Carolina Arbors.
They aren't townhomes, but no kids or buses.

Or look for an age restricted development.

Do you not want to mow, or do you want want the noise of mowing? If the latter, that could be a little tough to find.

Carolina Preserves in Cary has some connected villas that are sort of like townhouses. 55+ age restricted so no kids. They take care of the landscaping (mowing).

Not if they move to Phoenix, AZ where desert landscaping (read: rocks) reigns supreme.

55+ Active Adult Communities, including Carolina Preserve and Carolina Arbors are meant for those folks 55 and older.

There are others in the area, as well. Some have villas instead of townhomes.

...
But, the OP asked about Raleigh.
Hmmmm..... Cary in Chatham County for attached homes, or Raleigh in Durham County and settle for detached homes.

Decisions, decisions.

Actually, Carolina Arbors is in Durham, not Raleigh.

Maybe you're confusing it with Regency at BCCC that IS in Raleigh, but in Durham County, but only the ranch home section. Legally speaking, Regency is not age restricted. And we have our grass mowed every 1-2 weeks.

Didn't anyone actually read the OP? It clearly states that a 55+ community is not wanted.

That was added after several of us responded with the over 55 suggestion.
