I'm moving to a new apartment that already has cable service. I need recommendations on reasonable internet service. I just need basic internet, not high speed. Thanks

The max speed (300/20 mbps) for cable service is 104.99 a month. I am not sure what the lower levels are price wise. You pretty much need to call to ask if you want the "best" price.

You will need to confirm with the complex what internet options are available. It may only be serviced by one company since your cable is already included. For example, the complex may have an agreement with Spectrum so your only option is to use their internet.

I don't know about Raleigh, but in my Cary neighborhood the only options are Spectrum and AT&T. Spectrum appears to have slightly better rates.

It's pretty much spectrum or AT&T your apartment might have both like here but they seemed to push AT&T a bit.

I finally dropped AT&T for Spectrum. I'm getting much higher speeds for a lower price. AT&T would keep adding late fees when it wasn't late and the stupid equipment fees each month.
