No, Mike. I felt my salary was fair considering benefits and stability.

Quite a few left our agency only to come begging for a job after they were laid off.

We had a nice team and were located in a free-parking easy to reach spot on Wake Forest Rd.

I wonder if this cuts us totally out for Amazon HQ. Our talent pool is only so big and if Amazon has to compete with Infosys locally, well, there's not enough people here for all that (or housing!).

Man, that's one ugly building (though at least the picture of the real thing on iMaps looks better than the rendering). When they said Brier Creek I figured that AAC would build them a building or two over at Brier Creek Office Park as they have plenty of land there then saw the building and was like, what? But it's an existing building on the other side of 70 where there are some other brick buildings that it somewhat matches. Funny how Brier Creek got Xeroxed and people call anything in a ten mile radius BC it seems now.

No way. This is 2000 people, one day down the road. 500 now. A TINY percentage of people working in tech in the area.

I dunno. I have driven past the building many times and it seems fitting in that location.
And, lots of housing around for the employees.

Agreed. And it was known that Infosys was coming for months. Yet we still are on AMZN's list.

Amazon is certainly on the Triangle's list, but I haven't seen an Amazon list for us to be on.
