It's funny cause the Harvey issue was over 3 weeks ago but I noticed the gas prices in the triangle area hasn't gone down but if you head towards Winston-Salem you'll noticed the prices vary between 10-25 cents cheaper then here and I also noticed that most gas station are selling it basically at the same price $2.59 which is weird.

Now, I'm basically judging it North Raleigh/Durham area.

What's up?

I just looked on Gas Buddy and there are many stations in Raleigh under $2.40

Yeah could have been in certain areas but the prices around here were around $2.30 prior of Harvey and like i previously stated: Found gas for $2.32 heading towards Winston-Salem this past week. Where here the price has gone down for the past 2 weeks.

I think I paid close to $2.50 the other day. Not all that bad if you ask me. Of course, this is coming from a guy who doesn't have a five day a week commute. Since I've been here, it seems like gas prices at each station are pretty consistent with competitors.

This area has always had high gasoline taxes. Greensboro is quite a bit less.

Yeah! I filled up 3 times this week but made sure to fill up heading towards Winston-Salem for $2.34 instead of where I live is around $2.57-$2.59

The taxes are the same all across the state AFAIK.

We do seem to have higher prices here and quite a bit of variability across the area I have noticed.
