My friends and I will be there for sure! It was much fun last year. We're also thinking about volunteering for the first session.

How is it broken into sessions? I couldn't find that information on their website...

First session is afternoon, second session is evening. Both have a slightly different atmosphere. The afternoon session tends to be people more interested in the beer and enjoying a nice afternoon in the park. I see younger people, older people, couples with kids in strollers, etc. I've always gone to the afternoon session. I've heard that the evening session tends to be more younger people, a party atmosphere, and perhaps a bit more overindulging

I actually went to the evening session last year and will also concur that it has more of a party atmosphere, but I was actually surprised that people were not really overindulging as much as I thought might happen. I was pleasantly surprised by that!

Sending this link to the spousal unit. Thanks for the heads up.

When I went to the webpage, I also saw a link for the Durham Festival.

Yes. Durham beer festival is put on by the same people, many of the same volunteers, but held in the fall.

In case anyone was wondering, the online tickets sold out in 2 hours and all the rest of them are gone by now as well. I got mine!

However, a friend of mine spaced out and wasn't able to get one, so if you know of anyone trying to unload a ticket to the evening session, please send me a DM. Thanks!
