I received an email this morning that a section of the Walnut Creek greenway was closing down for sewer upgrades in the area near the amphitheater. The status page had it, then removed it.
It was allegedly started on the 7th of September and was to last until March!
Crabtree Creek greenway is now open on weekends in the area that was closed for powerline relocation. This is in the 2-4 mile marker range near 440 & before you get to the sidewalk on Milburnie Rd.
Mind you, no doubt we'll get some flooding this week as well.

Crabtree creek is still (as of 9/8) closed at North Hills area, but detour is easy to follow.
Crabtree Creek is now also closed at Marlowe Road, and detour is not clearly marked. We ended up on six forks, and had to ride in the road down to Anderson.
Crabtree Creek is closed east of Anderson. Looks like there might be a small path on the sidewalk, but we took another detour.
This was a good day though. It was my birthday ride, which required I log 51 miles this year. It gets more difficult every year!!!
You can get to Bond Park from there. Take that greenway across Chapel Hill Rd and across Evans, continue toward Lake Crabtree. Cross the long bridge over the lake and take a right on the Black Creek Greenway. At that point it's about 6 miles of Black Creek Greenway to Bond Park.
