Yes, thank you! Average at best.

The problem is that [I believe] their oil is not hot enough because their donuts always taste like oil and have an oily mouth-feel. I thought perhaps I just visited on a bad day so I tried it again (I'm from New England - Donuts are to NE what biscuits are to the south).

Not a fan of Rise. Their biscuit sandwiches, however, are pretty good.

My plan was to buy it and turn it into a donut museum and display a lot of local color memories, but sadly, I did not win the $400 million lottery prize last month, so it was up for grabs. Understand, it's not personal, it's business.

Hopefully, knowing that KK will remain in it's location will keep City Data folks, calm!

I've never been to either Tasty 8s or Calavera's. By the time I find out a good place to eat, they are closed. Restaurant business must be a hard life!

Sears just sold their store location at Crabtree to the mall ownership. $19.5 million.

Wonder how long they'll stay there, just a matter of time before Sears bites the dust. People won't be crying over a loss of Sears as they did for the potential loss of Krispy Kreme

Oh, agreed.

Just marking change.
Sears was The Beast of Retail as I was growing up.
Actually, we just bought a new mattress there.

I suppose they cashed out the real estate to generate money for other operations, and hope that the store will carry the rent+.
