Apparently this is one of the initial attractions in that area of Knightdale , which is about to get a sizable mixed use development under construction soon.

I went to Dickies one time and it was gross. I would think, in my opinion, anyone could do better. I will definitely have to check this new place out.

Dickie's? C'mon. Texas-style grilled beef in spicy tomato sauce can be tasty, but it's not BBQ. If I'm going mass-market BBQ I'd much prefer Smithfields.

Dickie's is not good Texas bbq. And if you have good Texas bbq, it needs no sauce. The best place around here that has decent brisket is Q Shack. We traveled out to Angiers to go to some supposed Texas bbq place - not good, is all I have to say.

Saying it won’t work because Dickies didn’t work out is like saying a breakfast joint won’t work out because Waffle House didn’t work out somewhere...
