Chicken and waffles for me. (Sorry, couldn't vote. It's not an up or down issue for me, I'm indifferent, and only hope they get it right, whichever way it ends up.)

I like the possibilities a major influx like this would bring. Certainly, it would up Raleigh's standing and likely advance infrastructure changes.
What I don't like is all of the other aspects - higher taxes (to pay for infrastructure changes), higher housing prices, more traffic, more construction delays, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Not sure this is a company I would want to subsidize with the tax increases that will cost us to buy this deal. Rather have a company with a proven track record of giving back to the community not us paying for them to do business using our resources. It’s a bad deal I hope Boston or Atlanta taxpayers will pay for not NC.
I lean to the negative, but not enough to vote. If Amazon comes to the triangle, my $200k home will be worth $600k, and I won't be able to afford to live here. I could just sell out, huge profit, and move to the mountains in a paid-for house, right around the time I retire.
So like I say, it's just a mixed bag of waffles. I'm going to reach in and grab one, I don't know if it will be a blueberry waffle, chocolate chip, or some form of nasty-azz gluten free waffle.
No vote.
