Apparently, SpectraForce is an easy way to get into the door at Merck. Has anyone gotten hired through Merck by using a staffing company. Also, I’m aware that SpectraForce does not require candidates to have completed the Biowork Process Tehnician Certification course, but I wonder if eventually Merck would want you to have the certificate. Any advice you can give me on this process is helpful.

To me, the first post sounds like disguised spam for SpectraForce.

My understanding is that some local pharmas do require it - if so, one could wonder if Merck will require it too, if the current employment rate scale flips.

The BioWork Process Technician non-credit course series is held by most of the NC Community Colleges, to prep for an industry-accepted exam -> certificate. Some colleges teach it as a hybrid course, meaning you could complete some of the coursework as your free time windows permit. Enrollment in the healthcare industry related instruction is usually pretty tight, and often requires attending a mandatory information session in advance.

Would the time/cost expended to earn the certificate be redundant to your current experience level?
