Just a good day for a movie, some popcorn, maybe a board game with the kids and a pizza with some Coke! Just a veg. day even though we have plans to get out in this stuff! We need the rain and my yad and pool is jump with joy "litterally"! Do I hear the mower saying bring home some gas soon???

What the Heck happened today? They were predicting 1-3" of rain and we only got around 0.55".

Looks like we are on track for falls lake filling up anyway, but I'm surprised they were so far off on today's rain prediction.

I believe we are suppose to get more rain overnight. That is where they are saying 1 - 2 inches. This rain is great! After the long dry drought we are still feeling the affects of this is most welcomed.

The storm tracked a little to the East. From I-95 south and east got quite a bit of rain.

The good news is that at the 9 p.m. reading the Lake was at 251.65, that's .15 above full pool!

They got all that rain South of Raleigh ... in Sampson County. I was driving I-40 yesterday afternoon and it rained so hard that it was very difficult to see.

I agree...let it rain...I did cut my Charlotte trip short this weekend and came back home on Saturday night...it was raining to heavy there to enjoy exploring the city...but I am glad to see rain my lawn is loving it
