We watched it. We were surprised that somebody made a deal - Cuban gave them $320K and the deal has, in fact, been signed (for various reasons, many deals that are announced on the show end up not going through).
Also surprised. Credit cards are significantly lowering the ability to churn points and airlines/hotels are devaluing their points left and right. Dont see the free/cheap travel from CC signup bonuses lasting that much longer.
Cool find. I love Shark Tank, good to see a local company on there!
Wasn't there that art and wine company from Raleigh that a husband and wife started and Kevin invested in a few years ago? It's where you go with some friends or family and paint some sort of image and drink wine, the couple started franchising their concept throughout the US and I think they use Kevin's wines as well.

Really? I make multiple thousands of dollars a year doing it as a part time hobby while I'm wasting away in a hotel room. I've found big improvements over the last twelve months.
Bloomberg did a pretty good Q&A on Chase's card that offered 100k points. When asked, their managment knows there are a select few who do this but overall the net effect is positive.

Did you just start out? AmEx now restricts the signup bonus of a card to once a lifetime so you can no longer churn the MR cards. Chase implemented the 5/24 rule so I wasnt able to sign up for the 100K reserve when it came out.
Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Delta, and AA all devalued their points or made reward redemption of discounted point options much harder but cutting availability. It's not nearly as easy as it used to be when I started back in 2010.
