So your lease is only 3 months old or there are 3 months left? If only 3 months old, any reason you dont want to stick with the lease? If toward the end of your lease, check to see what the value of your vehicle is on the open market.
1) if your buyout is more than the value of the vehicle (check other listings or kbb, etc.), then you would be better off turning it in and buying a different incarnation of the same vehicle for less or potentially using that lower value as negotiation with the captive to decrease the buyout.
2) if your buyout is less than the market value of the vehicle, then you could either buy it out or try to sell it for the equity in the vehicle.
