Hi all. I just moved back to the Triangle--to Durham this time--and I need a new vet for my doggos!
My older dog is 12 but still pretty spry. She loves running through the woods and swimming, but she's getting a touch of arthritis in the hips. I also have a younger dog, a 2 year old English shepherd. We live in American Village, and I'm looking for a veterinary clinic that will take good care of my precious pups!
(And to anyone who remembers me, I'm back! I first came to this forum when I moved to Raleigh in 2015 (and got a great vet recommendation back then! thanks to whoever that was!). I stayed for a couple years, then moved to VA to do an MS, and now I'm back in the Triangle at Duke for a PhD. I really missed this area. Feels good to be back!)
Only one I'm familiar with is Southpoint Animal Hospital off Fayetteville Rd as that's where I take my pup after a recommendation from friends. Been very happy with all of the doctors there. It ain't cheap though!
I love Colony Park Animal Hospital - my dog is elderly as well. Their prices are fair and the vets are terrific. I like Southpoint too, and a lot of people I know also like New Hope Animal Hospital.
