About freakin' time. We quit listening years ago when we could no longer stand his racist, sexist bullcrap anymore.

They've suspended him a few times. I think this is the first time he's actually been fired.

Borderline? He used to do elaborate skits where he played Mexican characters with terrible accents and horrible stereotypes.

Fine, I guess I was being nice. I didn't like him and when I first moved to the Triangle, didn't know how he still had a job at a popular radio station. Guess the times caught up to him? I heard that even Don Schwenneker from abc11 (who still comes on the show in the morning to give the weather news) got asked why he's friends with Bob Dumas.

He used to live on a large land in Apex according to his ramblings on the radio. What very diverse area did he buy in Cary?

Yeah, I never understood that friendship. Other than the fact that Big Weather seems like a genuinely nice guy who likes everybody.

LOL. Aren't there too many Indians, far east Asians and liberal white people there for him in that neighborhood?

His old neighborhood in Apex is becoming a cut through to Beaver Creek and now has some obtrusive commercial developments in it. Used to be really nice, quiet land out there.

Having occasionally heard him on the air just flipping through stations in recent years, it was clear his health wasn't great and his speed/cadence had slowed significantly. I understand that he has been through a lot, medically.

Either way, I haven't listened since Madison left maybe 15? years ago. Rock 92.3 out of Greensboro and 2 Guys named Chris is better than anything locally - by a long shot.
