Anyone else get an extremely high water bill this week? I have no leaks and since I had a problem a couple years back with one bill I do occasionally look at the meter to see if the meter runs with no water running. Called the phone number yesterday but the line was busy for 10 minutes. Can't be the only one because there is a message on the website stating some customers have had this problem.
This was happening to a number of people in Durham a month or two ago. It was covered in the news and can't remember what the city's excuse for the problem but thought it had been resolved.
I've been keeping a close eye on my bill and hope it doesn't happen to me
