5 "confirmed" (2 are a couple who shared it among themselves; confirmed in quotes because people have questions about the accuracy of the tests). None were overly serious cases.
My sister up in MA's good friend got it. Went from healthy to dead in a couple of days. Blood clots got him.
I put I knew 6 people and 1 who died, but I forgot at least one I know who has recovered. So it should be at least 7, but I still feel like that may not be all of them. My kids' friend and her parents got it (3), an acquaintance of mine got it early on in Feb or March after traveling to Europe (4), just yesterday I learned that two more friends are recovering (6), and my niece's father-in-law died from it. (7)
Only 3 so far. One here and 2 in another country. All recovered. All are under 35.
My good friend's aunt (60-65 yo)in NJ died from it. It was pretty heart breaking when he told me the whole story over the phone. It happened during that time when NY was going crazy. He is a third generation Armenian and apparently every life event is a pretty big deal in his family. But, he said they just let the funeral home take care of it. And that was it. His parents, esp. his mom, were besides themselves with grief... but they are in their late 60s and apparently didn't want to risk it. Plus he is in California... so not like he could go and console them either. Just such a sad thing.
