a lot of drugstores carry NC souvenirs. probably cheaper than anywhere else, too.

I know Kerr Drug does, and Eckerds. Probably they all do...try to hit one near a lot of hotels or highways- it'll up your odds.

Also, gas stations and truck stops near highways (85/95/ maybe parts of 40) might have some items too.

True, but the OP specifically requested B&M stores, not online.

Today I went to 'NC Sports and Gifts' in Crabtree and came back disappointed. 99% of the apparel in the store was either sports or college branded items. The NC branded ones they had were tucked away in a corner, and they were just some T-shirts. I didn't really liked them, and they didn't have the size (S) I wanted, anyway. The search is still on..

To those who suggested other places to check out, do you know if they carry girls' apparel? Specifically hoodies (hooded sweatshirts) or nice fitted t-shirts? Ourstate.com don't have what I'm looking for and now that I looked at A Southern Season's website, I don't think they do either.

What a sharp contrast to NYC, where they'd have an "I love NY" tee/hoodie in every corner. Yes, I know NC isn't the tourist spot that NYC is, but still...one would think no one ever visits NC.

Sadly, the only NC stuff we've found is in the airport--my kids have beanies and t shirts from there.

I hate to say it, but I just don't think people (especially teens) really wear that kind of stuff here unless it's a University sweatshirt. I can see it for New York considering it's a worldwide destination spot, but Raleigh NC just isn't touristy enough for that!
Sorry you haven't found anything!
