New Year, new (year) resolution to find a partner, and new (to e-dating in Raleigh)! What are some of the most popular apps / sites here in Raleigh that see a lot of activity? Personally looking for 30s-50s, LTR, and hetero and/or ace, but if there are apps for other relationship sections of the dating pie, please share those as well! Hope everyone's staying safe and warm!
As a male who dates women; I'm a fan of Bumble as it requires the woman to make first contact once you "match". Call me new-fashioned but I think in todays society that is preferrable for all parties involved. Bumble is also not as dominated by bots as Tinder now is while still being the more casual swipe left or right model (but not as much of a "hook-up" app; which Tinder basically is now as well)
Hinge is also nice. It's a bit more formal and reminiscent of what I imagine the OG online dating sites were like pre-smartphone,
Those are the only two I've used that have led to actual dates.

... to find a partner ... (anywhere) ... LTR and hetero ...
1) Get off the smart phone and out into the world.
2) Spend some time doing something you like.
2a) Find OTHER single people who also like doing that same something.
2b) Rinse & repeat.
3) Develop some friendships.

30s-50s...
4) Tighten up your target range to your own age +/- 3years
5) Stay off the "dating" sites unless you don't really want that LTR and/or like wasting your time
