Our high school is a Covid cluster. 39 cases in the past 4 days plus 10 cases last week. The school has about 800 students.

Where to find crime events that don't make the news?

I just passed something happening at the BP station at Crabtree, saw 4-5 police cars scream by at high speed, there were a number of people standing around at the station being questioned, their cars open at the station.

Maybe one of apps for police and emergency scanner. My wife occasionally listens in online to some incident near us.

Fully vax’d and boostered, came down with Covid Monday night, trust me you don’t want this. I stopped wearing mask off and on and got infected. Numbers are lower because people are self testing and those never get reported. Be careful out there.

Sorry to hear and hope you get over it soon.

I knew it was too early for people to drop their guards, back in office, partying like it's 1999. Saw people at an outdoor event (from afar) close up, hugging, etc. Freedom of choice, my choice is to avoid any of this kind of thing.

Plus there's the news out of NY today.

I can sympathize. Same exact boat here - double vaxxed and boosted and came down with symptoms last Thursday. Got it from a co-worker two days before. He was coughing all over the place Me and another guy got it. Crawling my way out of it but got saddled with GI symptoms yesterday. If I didn't have that, it would be better.

I 110% agree with you. You don't want it. Home tests aren't 100% accurate either as mine said negative but I knew otherwise.

What is scary is how many have had it 2 or even 3 times. Hope we both feel better soon.

Very Sorry to hear you got infected, went thru 2 years of pandemic and never knew anyone who got it, now I’m hear of more. These new strains are very contagious. I’m feeling quite a bit better, my 8th day. But yesterday got the “Phantom smell” symptom, smokey like, not constant but it’s there emanating somewhere from my olfactory/nose. I still have a cough so not real sure when I’ll be ready to venture out yet. I’ll be wearing a mask for sure.

The majority of people in the hospital are still not fully vaccinated, according to the healthcare workers.
At this point I have zero sympathy for those people.
