Are these neighborhoods nice....27616, 27604, and 27613.
Please let me know if these areas are safe enough for a single white female.

Thank you in advance.

You'd probably like 27613 I believe.

My apt community, Northridge Crossings, is in 27616 by Triangle Town Center.

Quite safe. We have many single females here.

If you are trying to determine who lives where, married versus single, income, etc., there are several websites that have been discussed here that will give you those answers.

There is a site out there called "zip skinny". Google it and you can type in the zip codes you want to research, and you'll see all kinds of info on each zip. If you go to the bottom of the page after you type in 1 zip code, you'll be able to compare many zip codes side by side. I don't know how recent the information is, but it seems like it might be a few years old. Generally 27613 has a higher median income, lower crime, lower unemployment, and more college graduates. I can't type in my zip code (27617) because it was a new zip code after the 2000 census and will not have info on it until the 2010 census is complete. My zip used to be 27613 before 2001 and I'm sure almost exactly mirrors the 27613 stats.

I'd never seen/heard of people talking about different zip codes in the area until coming onto this board. People talk about neighborhoods and areas being nice, safe, affordable, expensive, whatever. But zip codes are such an artificial concept as to not be very helpful a lot of the time. They may contain some great areas and some not so great ones.

You might also look into 27612 and 27609...but every Zip has good and less-good areas, so exact neighborhood info is best.

You may want to consider neighborhoods like Brier Creek in 27617. It is considered to be more safe. Good luck!
