My dear friend's daughter, who grew up in Cary, went to Apex High School, and graduated from NC School of the Arts just last year, will be a character on the new Law & Order series! What a huge score for someone's FIRST career step! Ainsley is so talented and I am so excited for her!

That's very cool. We went to look at that college last summer, it's a neat place. When did she graduate from AHS? My sister's kids might know her.

We have a few North Carolinians that are in Hollywood!

"Jill" on the show, Mom, is from Raleigh.

The current Batchelor went to Sanderson High School with my daughter!

“Ainsley” was Emily Proctor’s character on West Wing before she starred in CSI:Miami. She graduated from Ravenscroft. The Sedaris brother/sister (David and Amy) graduated from Sanderson, and David has written extensively about growing up in Raleigh in the 70s.

Also congrats on your friend and her daughter. I’ll definitely tune in.

I’d love if her character would have a southern accent, it would be very cool if she did. Would make her stand out from the crowd, hardly ever hear any kind of accents on TV or the movies any more. Only the show Southern Charm which does pretty well, Christy Knows Best kind of does, and old reruns of In the Heat if of the Night. Hope she has a great career.
