We were down in Wrightsville for the past week, and I can say our cars brought quite a bit of pollen back with them. Just a taste of what's coming here.

It's bad today. I can see it in the air when I drive ... took our blue car to the car wash on Saturday and it's like that never even happened.

We need a good rain storm to get some of this out of the air. I was in SC last week and there were clouds of pollen on the drive there. We are going to be in that situation soon!

I was walking the dog this morning and a truck flew by us adjacent to the sidewalk. This massive cloud of pollen rolled across the street and onto the sidewalk in front of us like a wave. I could feel my nose imploding in terror.

I've been sneezing all day....we had two cars parked in the street today and they are absolutely encased in it! Not supposed to rain till the end of the week, either.

The irony.....We finally get a full week without rain...and it's peak pollen week.

The islands in Jordan Lake might be above the water again by the end of the week but you still won't be able to see them through the yellow cloud!

Pollen only releases from the tree when the air is dry. So it’s inevitable.

I wonder if there are any statistics for how long the yellow peril lasts? I think it’s started a little later this year. Does that mean the same end date and a shorter time frame?

Ooh, maybe it's not a great day for that windshield repair. I will get used to the greenish spot in the resin, I guess (hasn't happened yet but I am assuming)
