Looking for hair stylist recommendations in the Cary/Apex area - Someone who is good with shorter hair, and who would be good at fixing a bad hair cut. Better yet, someone who would have some creative ideas to give me a cut that will work as I try to grow my hair out (again, ). Oh, and also someone I can get an appointment with in a reasonable amount of time. Asking a lot, I know! TIA!

Good morning!
Try Artisan Hair in NW Cary in the Whole Foods Plaza. Ask for Rob(the owner), Reina or Jordan. It’s a very good salon for females and males with very creative stylists and a good feel.

I’d also highly recommend Artisan in Cary.

Agree! I miss Rob...he was my hairstylist for years...would still be there if I hadn’t moved. He’s fabulous with color and and is an expert cutter!

I also recommend Artisan Hair in Cary. Rob has the vision to know what will look good and he has the skill to execute the vision. I had tried one other place before, and my haircut at Artisan was so good and now I won’t go anywhere else.

Circling back around, I went to see Rob yesterday and he was really great. Very happy with how my hair turned out, which unsurprisingly had to be pretty short due to the really bad cut I received in April. Thanks again for the recommendation!

So glad you went to Rob. He’s the best. Tell him to bring his scissors next time he goes down to his beach house. He’ll know who is asking. Lol
